Description :
These models are all missing some element – a base, a plane,
some missiles, etc. – or have loose elements. If you are up for a parts hunt
& repair job, these will probably be a great deal!
We believe the dark blue/gray plane is a Cougar II/F9F-8 from
Topping. It is hefty in weight and has a single hole mount on the belly. No
stand. Shows overall wear & tear – see photos - but with a new stand, it
would be an ok display model. 13” L with 10.5” wingspan.
We believe the light grey/white model is a Grumman A2F from an
unknown maker, although the detailed small print decals hint at
Topping/Precise. Issues with this are loose canopy, missiles below wings
missing parts, and overall heavy wear & tear – see photos. No stand. 13.5”
L x 13” wingspan.
We believe the neon orange/black drone to be a Ryan Firebee. It
is in good shape; its only real issue is a small bit of scuffing here and there
and the lack of a stand. (Note – we have a Firebee stand below, but it is
double-prong; to fit this drone the new owner would need to cut off one of the
prongs as this drone has a single mounting hole on the belly.) Measures 9” L x
5.5” wingspan.
We believe the all-white missile to be from Raytheon’s Sparrow
series, but there are no maker marks nor decals. Measures 9” L and is in good
shape except for the lack of stand.
We have 3 clear Lucite stands that don’t fit the above craft,
but might be useful in a trade with another collector:
- Ryan Firebee double-prong mount - Grumman S2F-1 Sub-Killer single-prong mount - Grumman A3A Intruder mount – prongs or swivel are gone.
Please examine photos closely; as noted before, everything in
this lot has sizeable issues.
