Description :

Sasak pottery is a traditional craft from the Sasak people of Lombok, Indonesia. This pottery is handmade using coiling techniques, where layers of clay are built up without a potter’s wheel. The clay is sourced from the hills above three main villages, each with its own distinct style and motifs. The pots are fired in simple outdoor kilns using wood, straw, and rice husks, which give them unique fire markings. Historically, Sasak pottery was crafted by women and passed down through generations in a tradition called “turun temurun”.

This pot stands 15.5" tall and is a beautiful blends of brown earth tones.

Dimensions : 11.5 in W x 15.5 in H
