Description :

Mid-Century Modern Decorative Vase Trio – Ceramic, Wood, and Glass (c. 1960s–1970s)
A curated set of three distinctive mid-century decorative vases, each crafted in a different material and style, perfect for display as a complementary grouping.

  • Large Ceramic Vase – Bulbous form with narrow neck, featuring a striking brown-to-black drip glaze.

  • Wooden Vase – Smoothly turned with natural grain patterning, warm brown finish, and simple mid-century silhouette.

  • Blown Glass Vase – Petite vessel in vibrant cobalt blue with round body and slender neck, showcasing classic mid-century glass artistry.

  • Era: c. 1960s–1970s

  • Materials: Ceramic, wood, glass

  • Size Range: Approx. 5"–10" tall

Historical Note:
This combination exemplifies the diversity of mid-century modern decorative arts, which celebrated organic forms, contrasting textures, and vibrant color. Ceramic drip glazes were particularly popular in Scandinavian and West German pottery, while turned wood vessels reflected a rise in artisan craft. The vivid glass vase nods to Italian and Scandinavian blown glass traditions of the same era.
