Description :

A stunning pair of blue opalescent bonbon bowls, each showcasing the artistry of early American glassmakers:

  • Dugan Glass Company – Double-handled bowl with ruffled edges in the Diamond Maple Leaf pattern. Measures 8" × 7" × 3.25".

  • Jefferson Glass Company – Four-footed bowl with soft opalescence and Edwardian-era detailing. Measures 6" diameter × 4" tall.

These pieces reflect the iridescent charm and intricate craftsmanship of the early 1900s, when opalescent glass was prized for its luminous glow and decorative appeal. Ideal for collectors of carnival glass, pressed glass, or American glass history.

Historical notes:

The Dugan Glass Company, later known as Diamond Glass Company, was a prominent American glass manufacturer active in the early 20th century.  They were particularly known for their carnival glass and opalescent wares, which became highly collectible.  The Diamond Maple Leaf Pattern is a well-recognized design.

The Jefferson Glass Company also was a prominent manufacturer of pressed glass.  Their designs often feature intricate patterns from the Edwardian period.  The company later became the United States Glass Company.
