Description :

Beautiful hand‑woven Peruvian wool textile depicting the classic scene of St. George and the Dragon. This vintage piece was created in the style of mid‑20th‑century artisan workshop tapestries that translated well‑known artworks into richly textured wool weavings.

Originally purchased in the 1980s from the Julie Ann Gallery in Gearhart, Oregon for $240, the textile shows strong craftsmanship, excellent color retention, and a faithful interpretation of the heroic narrative. The third photo in the listing shows the reference artwork.
