    Old World Refinement in West Seattle

    CLOSING TONIGHT STARTING AT 7PM

    Our client fled the Hungarian Revolution at age 17, acquired US citizenship after 2 tours of duty in Korea, and settled into a long career in Seattle’s industrial sector. Though he was a Harley-Davidson/fine motorcar devotee in addition to being an avid athlete, he also had a penchant for Old Master paintings and a devotion to music of many genres. This gentleman was a literally a ‘man of the world’ and we are proud to offer his estate for your perusal.

    NOTE: The paintings offered here are reproductions of famous works but are QUALITY reproductions on canvas with attention to detail, accuracy, and finish. The wooden frames are exquisitely wrought and valuable in themselves. Our client’s home was literally a large gallery with every inch swathed in great images – think 19th C art gallery.  Be sure to read the painting and tapestry measurements carefully – many of these pieces are quite large!

    ART: Over 50 reproduction paintings with unique wooden frames.  Artists range from Rembrandt van Rijn to Maxfield Parrish.

    VINYL: 400 vintage record albums from The Beatles to Tchaikovsky.

    MOTORCYCLE/MOTORING: Jackets, helmets, T-shirts, flags, & other motorcycle/car-related items from Harley-Davidson, Porsche, and Ferrari.

    ELECTRONICS: High-end vintage stereo equipment from Setton, TEAC, Infinity, etc.

    PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT: Minolta, Canon, Mamiya, Pentax, etc.

    ECLECTIC ONE-OFFS: Neiman Marcus hand-painted dishes, concrete neo-classical bust, & gargantuan columned bed.

    CLASSIC DÉCOR: Large-scale French tapestries, decorative statues, & retro lamps.

    SPORTING: Vintage skis & ski suits, European-made air guns, & lots of Philadelphia Flyers gear.

    Local pickups (near Lincoln Park):

    Friday March 21st  Noon – 3 p.m.

    Saturday March 22nd  9 a.m. – Noon

    Sunday March 23rd  10 a.m. – Noon

    These times are FIRM -  if you cannot make these pickup times, please do not bid.

    If you specifically want shipping for a painting, we have noted which ones will fit the standard Pack & Ship parameters for FedEx at the end of each description. If the description does not include “Can be shipped by FedEx” the painting is too large/deep for standard shipping. Contact us and we will give you 3rd party shippers so you may make independent arrangements.

    10% Buyer's premium is added to your auction total. Tax is waived if you have an active reseller permit on file.
