Description :
This looks like a chunk of rose quartz.
Traits you can see in your specimen: Soft, cloudy pink color Massive (non‑crystalline) structure Gentle translucency
Rose quartz forms in silica‑rich pegmatites and gets its color from microscopic mineral fibers. This one has the warm, earthy glow of jasper.
Jasper is a microcrystalline quartz colored by iron oxides, and it often shows: Solid, opaque color Smooth polish Slight mottling or banding This looks like yellow jasper or possibly honey calcite, depending on hardness and translucency.
From the photo it leans more toward jasper because of its opaque, waxy look. This is the most visually complex piece — likely a brecciated jasper or mosaic jasper.
Features that point to that: Angular fragments “cemented” together Reds, browns, creams, and blacks A polished surface that highlights the chaotic pattern This one has the warm, slightly banded look of carnelian or orange chalcedony.
Carnelian tends to show: Semi‑translucent edges Rich orange to reddish tones A smooth, glassy polish You’ve got a color gradient from soft pink to deep red to golden yellow. The textures range from cloudy (rose quartz) to opaque (jasper) to patterned (brecciated stone). The wooden blocks give each piece its own “stage,” which makes the whole arrangement feel intentional and curated. The Big Pink Piece (top block)
The Orange‑Red Stone (front left)
The Yellow‑Golden Piece (front right)
The Multicolored Patterned Stone (middle right)
The Brown‑Orange Stone (middle left)
