Description :

Elegant vintage Japanese lacquerware bowl featuring traditional gold birds, one in flight and the others perched on a plum blossom branch. The black lacquer surface displays a beautiful nashiji (pear-skin) finish with fine multi-color speckling that creates a subtle sparkling “confetti” effect under light. The bowl is finished with a refined gold rim and classic nature motif commonly seen in mid-20th-century Japanese decorative lacquerware.

Likely produced for the export market in Japan circa 1940s–1960s, this piece works beautifully as a decorative accent, small serving bowl, or display piece.
