Description :

Elegant Victorian cranberry (gold ruby) glass creamer or small pitcher with decorative silver-plated mount and handle. The rounded body features a beautiful opaline swirl pattern in richly colored ruby cranberry glass.

Mounted glass pieces like this were popular in late 19th century tea and breakfast services, combining decorative art glass with ornate silverplate fittings.

The vibrant cranberry glass shows a beautiful ruby glow when light passes through the body, making it a charming display piece for collectors of Victorian glass, cranberry glass, or mounted art glass.

Condition:

Very good antique condition. Glass shows no visible cracks or chips. Silverplate mount displays natural age-related patina consistent with antique silverplate.

A lovely late Victorian decorative table piece that displays beautifully.
