Description :

A distinguished framed portrait of Mary, Queen of England (Mary of Teck), paired with an original Christmas greeting card personally inscribed “To Dolly from May.” The inscription reflects Queen Mary’s customary use of “May,” her lifelong nickname, adding a layer of intimate authenticity to the piece. The display is presented in an ornate gilt frame with red and cream double matting, enhancing the formality and period character of the portrait.

This example originally retailed for $675, underscoring its desirability among collectors of British royal memorabilia and early 20th‑century ephemera. A refined and historically resonant addition to any collection.
