Description :

“View from Ecola Point, Cannon Beach” is an original oil painting by Lanie Franza, capturing the sweeping drama of the Oregon Coast from one of its most iconic vantage points. Grassy cliffs lead the eye toward a curving shoreline, scattered sea stacks, and a mist‑softened horizon. Gentle waves roll in with layered blues and greens, while distant headlands fade into atmospheric light. Franza’s brushwork is clean and naturalistic, emphasizing depth, coastal mood, and the quiet grandeur of Ecola Point’s panoramic view.

Artist Bio — Lanie (Laine) Franza

Lanie Franza is a Pacific Northwest landscape painter known for her luminous coastal scenes, forested vistas, and atmospheric shoreline studies. Working primarily in oil, she focuses on the rugged beauty of Oregon and Washington—Cannon Beach, Ecola Point, Pacific headlands, and quiet coves rendered with soft realism and layered light.

Franza studied fine art through regional programs and private instruction, developing a style rooted in traditional landscape painting with contemporary clarity. Her work has been shown in Northwest galleries, local exhibitions, and curated coastal art shows, and is held in private collections throughout Oregon and Washington. Collectors value her ability to capture the serenity, scale, and shifting weather of the Pacific Coast with both accuracy and warmth.
