Description :

At the Ready depicts two moored vessels resting quietly beside a weathered pier, their masts and rigging rising against a soft coastal horizon. Nelson’s watercolor technique emphasizes calm water reflections, muted shoreline light, and the subtle textures of working boats prepared for their next departure. The composition is balanced and atmospheric, capturing the quiet readiness of a maritime scene with clarity and understated elegance.
