Description :

Gale Warning presents a sleek sailing vessel heeling sharply as it cuts across rising wind and building seas. Reynolds uses crisp geometric forms, strong diagonals, and a controlled palette to convey the tension and exhilaration of navigating under increasing wind pressure. The striped sail arcs forward with dynamic force, while the layered sky and taut waterline emphasize motion, balance, and the disciplined elegance of performance sailing. The composition is clean, modern, and unmistakably Reynolds

Artist Bio — Keith Reynolds

Keith Reynolds is an American maritime artist known for his stylized, design‑forward interpretations of sailing vessels, coastal atmospheres, and nautical motion. His work blends technical understanding of sailcraft with a modernist visual language—clean lines, simplified forms, and strong compositional rhythm.

Reynolds studied traditional drawing and painting with a focus on marine subjects, later refining a signature style that merges fine‑art sensibility with graphic precision. His limited‑edition prints and originals have been shown in maritime galleries, regional art exhibitions, and specialty nautical venues throughout the United States. His work is collected by sailing enthusiasts, coastal homeowners, and admirers of contemporary marine art for its clarity, movement, and distinctive aesthetic.
