Description :

A two‑microscope lot featuring early brass instruments preserved with their original fitted wooden cases and period components. Each microscope reflects turn‑of‑the‑century construction, with metal bodies, rack‑and‑pinion focusing, and removable optical elements typical of educational and laboratory use of the era.

Both cases retain their internal compartments and assorted accessories, including eyepieces, objectives, small parts, and adjustment tools. One example includes its original printed instruction sheet for high‑power operation, while the other retains a numbered magnification label detailing its lens combinations. The microscopes are shown in both assembled and partially disassembled states, offering a clear view of their mechanical design and optical assemblies.

A strong offering for collectors of vintage scientific instruments, restoration specialists, or those interested in the development of optical technology. This pair provides historical value, display appeal, and insight into early microscopy practice.
