Description :

Two empty Kellogg's cereal boxes - they are both shrink-wrapped for preservation. We do not have cereal box expertise, so we are unsure if these are authentic vintage boxes or just exceedingly good reproductions. However,  we lean toward the former since our client was a very picky collector of space-related items - fakes were not his thing. Please read the details and look at the photos to make your own determination.

Kellogg's PEP - The Solar Cereal. In red, white, blue, yellow and black ink. This box is Canadian in origin given the use of French along with English and the manufacture in Ontario. 8 oz. box. Front features rocket planes blasting off the lunar surface. Ads for Tom Corbett space goggles, monogrammed utensils, and the cereal itself are on the other sides. Measures shy 8.5" H x shy 6.25" W x shy 2.25" D. Condition appears to be excellent with only slight yellowing with age.

Kellogg's Shredded Wheat - 100% Whole Wheat. In red, green, blue, orange, pink, and black ink. 12 oz. box. Front features hanks of dried shredded wheat along with notice of a  "satellite man" enclosed. An ad for Kellogg's Crumbles, serving suggestions, and more details on the toy inside are on the other sides. Measures shy 8" H x 7.5" W x 2.75" D. Condition appears to be ok - fair amount of yellowing with age and there is some obvious water damage on lower panel & a rip across the top panel (see last 2 photos). Because it is shrink-wrapped, it doesn't really affect the appearance of the box for display.
