Description :
Here’s a real rarity – a full, unused jar of
General Foods’ Tang Instant Breakfast Drink (18 oz.) still in its
original shrink-wrap from 1971. As kids we always associated Tang with the Apollo program
since they were a large promotional sponsor and did lots of advertising. This particular jar has the wind-up self-powered lunar rover vehicle inside
the shrink-wrap in blue, white, & grey plastic. Our client had another
rover sans jar that we are including as a bonus so you don’t have to unwrap the jar to see
it. Please note that, of course, the Tang in the jar is not for consumption – it’s
over 50 years old and contents were bright orange when produced – same
color as the lid. Also note there are two small rips/punctures in the shrink-wrap, but rover is still secured to the jar – see
