Description :

Vintage Space Publications in comic form. Note that with the exception of "Moon Shot", all of these are quite old and show the expected browning/glue/brittleness issues to be expected with being over 1/2 century old - however, all are still very readable; they are just not cosmetically great.

WALT DISNEY’S MAN IN SPACE from Dell. Contains 3 full-length science-focused topics: rockets/satellites, man and the moon, and Mars & beyond. From 1959. In comic book form with color drawings.

MOON SHOT – THE FLIGHT OF APOLLO 12 from Pepper Pike Graphix. Serious space topics covered in comic book style. Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Apollo 12 flight of Conrad/Gordon/Bean – 1994.

FROM EARTH TO THE MOON from Classics Illustrated. Comic book treatment of the Jules Verne classic novel. Covers are only in fair condition, but inside is still quite good for being 70 years old. 1953.

MEN INTO SPACE from Dell TV Adventure. Speculative fiction in comic form almost a decade before men landed on the moon. 1960.

COUNTDOWN – THE RACE INTO SPACE – from Dell. Asking the question “What if the Russians are the first to the Moon?”, this is a tie-in comic book to the movie of the same name starring James Caan & Robert Duval – 1967.

Also included - Rocket firecracker label & ad from the early 1970s.
