Description :
Two lovely carved wooden ladies from very different artists in the same supine position. The darker one is very hard-working! The lighter larger sculpture was purchased from Harvey Pranian Antiques in Chicago (folk art specialty gallery) many years ago. Measures approximately 17" L x 2.5" H. We believe she was mounted on something originally, but looks great on her own lying flat. The darker figure is actually a functional nutcracker. Lift her leg and she’ll break your nuts. She measures just over 13" L x 2.25" H.
