Description :
Ericsson rotary dial desk telephone, likely a model from the mid-20th century, possibly similar to the Bakelite telephone introduced in 1931. Here's some information about this type of phone:Design and Material: This telephone features a traditional design with a separate handset and a rotary dial on the base. It is likely made of Bakelite, an early form of plastic known for its durability and glossy finish, which was a common material for telephones during that era. The large, central rotary dial is a key characteristic, used for dialing numbers by rotating the dial clockwise for each digit and letting it return to its original position. Ericsson's Bakelite telephone, launched in 1931, was significant for its trend-setting design and introduced technical innovations like anti-side tone coupling, which improved sound quality by reducing the effect of background noise.
