Description :

A fine pair of Meissen porcelain teacups with matching saucers, each piece decorated in blue‑and‑white with the classic Meissen crossed‑swords motif incorporated into the artwork. All four pieces display hand‑painted detailing consistent with Meissen’s long‑established craftsmanship.

Markings & Underside Details:

  • Teacups: Both cups bear the Meissen crossed‑swords mark with two cancellation lines through the swords, indicating factory‑designated second quality while still produced within the Meissen manufactory.

  • Saucers: One saucer features a sloppy crossed‑swords mark, while the other carries the standard crossed‑swords mark.

  • All marks are hand‑applied, typical of Meissen’s traditional production methods.

Features:

  • Blue‑and‑white decoration with crossed‑swords artwork on the surface of all four pieces

  • Matching pair of teacups and saucers

  • Hand‑painted Meissen marks on undersides, including variant and cancellation‑line examples valued by collectors for study and comparison

A classic Meissen porcelain pairing with desirable mark variations, ideal for collectors, decorators, or those seeking authentic examples of Meissen’s hand‑painted crossed‑swords marks across multiple forms.
