Description :
Description:
Antique ceramic pitcher and wash bowl set dating to the early 20th century, displaying strong Art Deco‑era influence in its vertical black and gray geometric banding. The cream‑glazed body, stepped motif, and linear decoration reflect the streamlined aesthetic popular from the 1920s into the 1930s. The pitcher features a classic curved handle and shaped spout, paired with a wide matching bowl in the same coordinated pattern. Underside of pitcher marked “CLAY” with impressed production number 1158, along with a faint secondary impressed mark—typical of small‑batch or regional ceramic houses of the period. A striking example of early Deco‑period utilitarian ceramics, offering both decorative appeal and historical character. Condition:
